What’s your membership requirements?
You must be a resident of certain residential boundaries, Monroe County and parts of St. Clair County. See bylaws for a more detailed description.
What are the fishing limits?
There are signs posted at the lake with limits on possession, size, and types of fish. Any fish removed from the lake must be recorded in the register supplied by the Club. Please observe limits posted on signs. Do not fish with; minnows, goldfish, nor carp. Do not clean your fish in the lake or anywhere on the premises.
How can I join and what is the cost?
You must be recommended by a current member, then fill out an application, screened and approved by the Board of Directors. Following their recommendation, you must be voted in by two-thirds of members present at the designated meeting for your induction. You are required to attend two workdays per annum. The initiation fee is $100.00 plus the $100.00 per year membership.
What is the procedure for using the clubhouse?
The clubhouse is available on a first-come-first-serve basis. There is a calendar in the Club House by the lady's restroom. When making your reservation, be sure to write your name, membership number, number of people expected, time expect to use the facility and location. I.E. Pavilion, Club House, etc. to sign up. There are additional requirements for the Clubs facilities. See the "Clubs Membership Reminders" page.
When is the lake stocked?
The lake is closed for fishing for three weeks after stocking which usually occurs in March and/or October
What are the Club hours?
Members receive a key, and the combination, which serves to open the entrance gate, clubhouse, boats, etc. Please lock the gate behind you when you enter. Please return your key if you are no longer a member.
When are meetings held?
General membership meetings are on the fourth Monday of each month at 7 PM (by-laws may say 8 PM) Annual meeting is held in January in conjunction with the regular meeting. A Board meeting is held before the regular membership meeting. Please plan to attend a Board meeting if you applying for memberships.
